I have had a long career in the arts and photography. After graduating from the University of Washington, I began working for artist Dale Chihuly. I followed that job to New York City were I continued to work at Chihuly’s SoHo studio and the Pace Wildenstein Gallery.  Later I returned to school earning a degree in Commercial Photography from the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, BC. My husband and I moved to Fidalgo Island in the San Juan Islands in 2001. We owned a photography studio and art gallery together for 17 years while traveling the globe with our children. Currently, I am the contract photographer for Island Hospital and the Anacortes School District, as well as, a Rotary member and active Board Director, and past-President, of the Anacortes Arts Festival. The accomplishment I am most proud of is being the mother of two creative, empathetic and joyful girls, Madelyn (age 13) and Sophia (age 10). It’s through their inspiration that I continue to work on my professional and creative endeavors.
